My name is Faith Cross, I’m 18 years old and I was born and raised in Decatur, GA. I have been involved in the arts since I can remember. I began dancing at the age of two after my mom forced me to take classes. Ironically, I hated dancing as a child and would often beg my mother to take me out of the classes. Somewhere along the line, I grew to fall in love with Ballet. I have been training consecutively for 5 years now, with 2 years on pointe. This training in Ballet has taught me many life lessons such as self-discipline, perseverance, self-care as well as serving as a platform for self-expression. Because of this Ballet is an important part of my life, and I would not be me if I did not dance. I have learned how to work hard for what I want and avoid quitting but to reassess my circumstances and try a different approach.

Although, I am passionate about Dance, I aspire to be an Aquatic Veterinarian. I want to work for a nonprofit rehabilitation center and focus my career on spreading awareness about marine animals and their environments.
